Ask.com is another common search engine popular in North American as well as certain European territories. Formerly known under the name ‘Ask Jeeves’, it was more of a Q&A site that encouraged people to ask as well as answer questions through simple and understandable use of language. For this reason, Ask.com is still used by many for the same purpose. But, with major enhancements made in its search parameters and foreign language extensions, Ask.com is becoming more and more popular in countries like France, Germany, Spain and Russia.
