Unknown 2011 is an upcoming thriller, suspense movie. Unknown based on the novel Out of My Head by Didier van Cauwelaert. Liam Neeson as Dr. Martin Harris who had an accident in Berlin when he woke up in coma his wife doesnt recognize him and somebody took his identity. The entire script deals with our brain’s interpretation of a given scenario; we use the facts we are given and attempt to put them through the prism of our mind for an answer. It is what the audience does while watching and what the characters do when confronted with two separate Harrises. One is coming and one is going, the illusion of identity becoming refracted and skewed into two, as both seemingly have no reason to lie while also knowing the exact same information. Both Liam Neeson and Aidan Quinn’s versions are so entrenched in the man’s history that when trying to convince someone he is the real Martin, they speak facts only they could know in unison. If Martin Harris’s life were a script, they both know the part.
Its easy enough to see how Unknown nabbed its A-list cast. The premise alone is very intriguing, and the actors may have been seeing images of a Saw type hit on their hands. Alas, the final product, while not a total disaster, is simply too pedestrian for its own good. There is not enough energy, or enough reason to pay too much attention. As mentioned, the films narrative is too straightforward, supplying very few credible red herrings to keep the viewer off balance. If you pay even just a little bit of attention to the flashbacks, it quickly becomes obvious who is who.
”Picture banana nahi hai, khatam karna hai. ”And another which goes something like this. ”First day first show pe chaar aadmi theatre aate hain.
