30 Minute Article Writing - Seven Ways To Reduce The Time You Spend In Producing Web Copies
You can easily write high quality articles in 30 minutes or less. Here’s how you can do that:
1. Always bring a pen and paper wherever you go. Have you ever experienced staring at your computer for several minutes not knowing how to start your articles or what topics to discuss? Well, you can avoid this from happening by simply jotting down great ideas as they hit you. I do this all the time and this helps me fight writer’s block. Another thing I do that improves my productivity is that I make good use of my idle time. There are times that I need to wait for my turn for my doctor’s appointment. What I do is I think of topics for my articles, create an outline, and sometimes, I even write drafts. These surely help in cutting my writing time in half.
2. Use time-boxing technique. What is it? This technique simply means racing against a timer. The next time that you tap on your keyboard, get to know the average time it takes you to finish an article. Then, set your timer and try to beat the time that you have set. If you do this, you’ll most likely to maximize the time that you have in finishing one article; you’ll most likely to avoid doing unrelated stuff as you know exactly how many minutes you have.
4. Have quick breaks. How does having quick breaks help you write your articles in 30 minutes or less? Well, there are some writers who are writing for straight 3-5 hours. What I noticed is that if you write this long, it’s more likely to lead to mental fatigue. When this happens, you’ll be lucky if you’ll be able to finish one quality article in an hour. So, I suggest that you write for one full hour (finish 2 articles) and have at least 30 minute break. This is to refresh your mind and body.
5. Focus. Find a place where nobody can disturb you. What I do is I lock myself in my bedroom and instruct everybody in my household not to disturb me until I’m done. You know, this has done wonders to my productivity. I noticed that when nobody is distracting me, I can think and write way faster.
6. Keep it short. Keeping your articles short is like hitting two birds with one stone; you’ll be able to save some writing time and you’ll also be able to impress your readers who are looking for relatively short but tight articles. Before you start writing, plan your content first. Try to limit it and just discuss 3-5 major points. Avoid using fillers and do not present information that are irrelevant to your main topic.
7. Choose your topics. If you have the option, write articles on topics that you know really well. This is way better compare to choosing those topics that you’re not even familiar with as you will not need to do extensive research which can surely eat a lot of your writing time.
